01Eligibility

Oishworjo Audiobooks is not directed to children under 13.

If applicable law does not permit you to agree to these Terms independently, you should use the service only with the involvement or permission of a parent or legal guardian.

02Your account

Some Oishworjo Audiobooks features require a customer account.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information and taking reasonable steps to protect access to your account.

Your account is personal to you and should not be sold, transferred or shared in a manner that compromises security or protected content.

03Account security

Keep your four-digit PIN and any other authentication information confidential.

Oishworjo will not ask you to provide your PIN, OTP, password or authentication token through email or telephone.

If you believe your account or authentication information may have been compromised, contact Oishworjo promptly.

04Audiobook content and intellectual property

Audiobooks, recordings, narration, written material, cover artwork, branding, software and other material made available through Oishworjo Audiobooks may be protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property rights.

Content may be owned by Oishworjo or provided under licence or another lawful arrangement with authors, publishers, narrators and other rights holders.

Using the service does not transfer ownership of protected content or intellectual-property rights to you.

05Licence to use the service

Subject to these Terms, Oishworjo grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service and access content made available to you for lawful personal and non-commercial use.

06Streaming and permitted use

Phase 1 audiobook content is provided through authenticated in-app streaming.

Unless Oishworjo expressly provides functionality allowing otherwise, you are not authorised to extract, download, reproduce or create a separate customer copy of protected audiobook media.

07Prohibited activities

You must not use Oishworjo Audiobooks unlawfully or in a manner that harms Oishworjo, another person, a rights holder or the security or integrity of the service.

You must not attempt to bypass access controls, obtain protected audiobook files outside supported functionality, redistribute protected content without permission, misuse another person's account or credentials, interfere with the service, introduce malicious software, scrape protected customer/service data, or use protected material for unauthorised commercial or public distribution.

08Ratings, reviews and other submissions

Where Oishworjo allows you to submit ratings, reviews or other material, you are responsible for the content you submit.

You must not submit material that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, threatening or otherwise harmful.

Oishworjo may moderate or remove submissions where reasonably necessary to protect customers or rights holders, enforce these Terms or comply with applicable law.

Customer-submitted ratings and reviews associated with an account will be removed when permanent account deletion is successfully completed.

09Service availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed.

Individual audiobooks, catalogue availability and features may change because of rights arrangements, maintenance, technical requirements or other legitimate operational reasons.

Oishworjo may update, improve, suspend or discontinue portions of the service where reasonably necessary.

10Third-party services and links

The service may rely on third-party infrastructure or contain links to third-party services.

Where you choose to leave Oishworjo and use a third-party service, that provider's own terms and privacy practices may apply.

11Suspension or termination

Oishworjo may reasonably restrict or terminate access where necessary because of serious misuse, security risks, unlawful activity, infringement of rights or material violation of these Terms.

Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, we may provide notice or an opportunity to address the relevant issue.

12Account deletion

You may permanently delete your Oishworjo customer account through the Oishworjo mobile application.

Information about the deletion process and the outside-app request route is available at:

Permanent account deletion removes the account rather than merely deactivating it.

13Disclaimer

Oishworjo Audiobooks is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, guarantee, consumer protection or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Oishworjo is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable or which results from circumstances outside Oishworjo's reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.

15Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.

This does not remove any mandatory consumer, privacy or other legal rights that apply to you under the laws of the country or jurisdiction where you live.

16Changes to these Terms

Oishworjo may update these Terms when the service, applicable law or operating arrangements change.

The latest revision date will appear at the beginning of this page.

Where reasonably necessary, significant changes will also be communicated through the service.
